-The Secret of the Old Lama- is a new book by Dorje Batuu, based on real events of the author’s life and real characters. This is not just a collection of stories about Teacher, as it may seem at first. Every reader will find something in this book: for some, this story will reveal the secrets of the Doctrine and the Buddhist perspective. For some, it will be a trip into the brutal Soviet era and will show that the fate of all the peoples who were imprisoned in the USSR is tragically similar.
